There is nothing better than the love and energy of a Golden Retriever!

Eaglenest is a home full of "Golden" Love, where golden retrievers set the tone for the B&B; unconditional acceptance, appreciation for life, and true happiness!

Back in 1995, when the Bed & Breakfast was in escrow, Jim surprised me with two 7 week old Goldens he found at a rescue program in Utah. Lucy & Rick did set the tone for the home and our business, and we have never looked back. They passed away in the fall of 2007, and at almost 13 years of age, we were so blessed by them.

Lucy & Rick passed the torch to Luke and Leah, amazing babes we adopted in 2003 after we built our home and had room for more goldens! They learned quickly to love their lives at Eaglenest, as their days are filled with runs down the dirt road, breakfast with the guests, and lounging around the homes. Leah is always ready for check ins, and Luke is always keeping a close eye on Julie. It's just the way they turned out!

In the Spring of 2010, the universe dropped Will and Grace in our laps!

We were not actively looking, but are always open to the opportunities in front of us~ While we will be in training mode for a while, they are already proving to be amazing ambassadors of the Nest! We look forward to sharing the pack with you~

Pet Policy

Pet Guests are gladly welcomed to stay at An Eagle in the Pines Cabin.
